183 Secure Rental Homes in Burnaby

Burnaby recently announced nearly $92M in combined funding to help build 183 secure rental homes, with $84.5M coming through a federal apartment loan program.
The Marine Drive project was designed for families, with 58 two-bedroom homes and 125 three-bedroom homes within Burnaby's South Slope neighbourhood near everyday amenities.
The townhomes were planned near a recreation centre, schools, childcare, and other amenities, positioning the site for daily convenience and family living.
Local leaders said the project helps fill a family-rental gap in Burnaby and expands housing choice, giving more residents a chance to put down roots.
The homes are set to stay in public hands for generations, supporting long-term rental options for Burnaby families within the community over time.
